  • tumblr_obbw4fhojo1ucgknio1_500Lee Jong Suk como Kang Chul: Para começar: O QUE É ESSE HOMEM NESSE LOOK ALL JEANS?!?

PS: Acho o olhar dele meio tenebro2worlds126so as vezes.

  • Lee Shi Eon como Park Soo Bong: A-M-E-I!

  1. Jung Joon Young - Where are you (listen here!)

  2. Park Boram - Say something even though it's a lie (listen here!)

  3. Basick x INKII - Your fantasy (listen here!)

  4. Navi - Drawn a love (listen here!)

  5. FULL OST YOUTUBE PLAYLIST:here.

Review: W - Two Worlds

16:37 Unknown 0 Comments

Oh God! *sigh* I was looking really forward to write this review.. It's been only 10 minutes after I finished watching the last episode and it's the right time to talk about this drama.!  (Maybe my more overbiased review, who knows ><)

W is a South Korean drama broadcasted by MBC from July 20 to September 14 of 2016.

Synopses: Cardiothoracic surgeon Oh Yeon Joo's father mysteriously went missing while writing the last chapter of his webtoon "W". Yeon Joo goes to his office and is shocked to see a scene of a bloodied Kang Cheol, the main character of W, on her father's monitor. While reading something left behind by her father, a hand from the monitor pulled her in. She found herself on the rooftop of a building, next to man lying down in blood. She manages to save him and realizes that the person she saved was Kang Cheol. She then found out that she can only enter and leave the webtoon based on Kang Cheol's change in feelings. (font: mydramalist.)

han-hyo-joo-and-lee-jong-suk-w-two-worlds-still-picture2-682x1024The most sincere way to begin this review is: DAEBAK! It begins introducing to us Oh Yeon Joo, a cardiothoracic surgeon resident whose father is a the author of the most popular webtoon on South Korean called W. She receives a call from Park Soo Bong, her good friend and the assistant of her father, where he tells that her father went missing. Searching for clues about the whereabouts of her father she gets dragged into W and, without knowing, she ends up saving Kang Chul.

Kang Chul is a olimpic medalist that served in jail for the murder of his family although he walee-jong-seok-w-two-worlds-3s innocent. When he gets released he doesn't know what to do with his life anymore and attempts suicide, but he gave up at the end and decides to use his life to search for the real murderer of his family and to help people who suffered the same of him. As he's a genius computer engineer and forming a team with all kind of specialists, he starts to help the police to finish cases and begins to be one kind of hero to society. He has by his side his childhood friend Yoon Soo Hee and his bodyguard/best friend Seo Do Yoon, but after almost ten years he hasn't found out anything that leaded him to the real killer.

After being saved by a strange woman called Oh Yeon Joo, he starts to believes that she's the key of his life, the only person who can answer all of his questions and then starts to look for her everywhere. At the same time Oh Yeon Joo keeps getting dragged into the webtoon world, saving Kang Chul's life every time and getting involved with him. She then finds out that her father, Oh Sung Moo, is the one who is trying to kill him as the character seems to being brought to life.

⇒ Story: 8.5/10.

w-two-worlds-korean-dramas-39801892-500-333This was one of the most original plots that I've ever watched in korean dramas and it was wrote beautifully. Kang Chul is such an amazing character, he's so wise and competent but at the same time you can feel how lonely and sad he is. How he deals with his family issues and how much he dots his friends is really beautiful and charming, I must say that Kang Chul is definitively one of the most charming characters of this season (maybe he's just losing for the Crown Prince of Love in the Moonlight *____*). Then we have Oh Yeon Joo who is a kind of weird female lead: I dunno if I can call her wise, but she's really smart and catch everything really fast. It's kinda obvious that she has some problems with her father, but although their relationship are not the best she still loves and dote him very much. Oh Sung Moo is the kind of character that or you love or you hate, but I loved how the writers developed all the important characters here. The romance between Kang Chul and Oh Yeon Joo is really good! They've amazinglee-ong-sukg chemistry with a lot of amazing kisses, sweet and cute moments, the way they look at each other it's kinda impossible to describe.. but the plot goes beyond the romance as they work really hard to solve the mystery behind what is happening with them. I loved all the story, and I dunno how can I describe it more without spoiling it ><. I just didn't give it a 10, 'cause I thought that at the end there was something that went missing so a 8.5 is okay.

Acting/Cast: 10/10.

  • Han Hyo Joo as Oh Yeon Joo:w03-01634 As a huge fan of Han Hyo Joo (since Dong Yi and Always) I never doubt her acting skills, but when I read about her comeback to the little screen I prayed for a good role.. and, oh man, she doest know how to choose her roles! At the beginning there was some scenes that I felt like she was kind of uncomfortable, but after some time she was herself again being really good! I must say that when she opens her big eyes and a tear drops, my heart cries with her T_____T'. I loved her here! Such a great comeback to the little screen and such an amazing chemistry with Lee Jong Suk! (KISSES, KISSES EVERYWHERE PLEASE!)

  • tumblr_obbw4fhojo1ucgknio1_500Lee Jong Suk as Kang Chul: First of all what is this man in his all jeans look?! So freaking sexy!!! LJK just did here what he's really good at: beautiful acting skills, one of the most handsome smiles at this industry, an amazing work with such deep and difficult characters, and definitively the most freaking/crazy/handsome face when he cries (I really can't deal with his face when he cries, it's like he's with one hammer at his hand and is destroying my heart ><). I can't imagine any other actor playing Kang Chul and it's really nice to see how much he's growing as an actor, after every work I keep wanting more and expecting more from LJS (until now never got disappointed!).

    [caption id="attachment_1411" align="aligncenter" width="387"]img-89d13248cd06027a7c90f00769f1a3c2 freaking/crazy/handsome face T___T[/caption]

  • 2worlds58Kim Eui Song as Oh Sung Moo: He was great, really. I know that you'll probably spent half or more of the drama really wishing bad things for him, but at the end you can say that what he did was kind of justifiable. I really don't know a lot of KES works, just watched W and SFD with him, but overall he did a great job here. PS: I find his eyes kind of scary.

  • Lee Shi Eon as Park Soo Bong: I just loved him! H2worlds126e was funny from the beginning to the ending and I loved almost all of the scenes with him. I do love LSE works and I hope that someday he can get a main role, he deserves it.

  • Lee Tae Hwan as Seo Do Yoon/Jung Eugene as Yoon Soo Hee: Both did a good job, but I felt that towards the end their characters got a little lost at the story.w03-01325

Music: 10/10

tumblr_ob0hl9nrza1rjeui2o1_500This drama does have a lot of great songs, I'm kinda addicted to listen all of this OST.. But here are my favorites:

Rewatch value: 8/10.

Overall: 10/10.

I must say that ever since I watched the first teaser of W, I was over excited: it was the comebacktumblr_odihn2olgd1tyu99eo1_1280k of Han Hyo Joo to TV and she was being paired with Lee Jong Suk, in my head the chances of this drama being a terrible one was almost zero. The plot is so original, the episodes are so well written and the teasers for the next week episodes were so well done that waiting was like a torture to me. I'm not a really hard person to please, but from some time I'm becoming more rigorous while watching dramas (maybe because I keep getting myself liking more underrated dramas than the ones on top) and this drama was a BANG! I had a lot of mental breakdowns during this drama and every moment was really a pleasure to watch, I didn't 2worldsep7header-690x400skip anything at this drama.. anything at all. The one thing that I really, really enjoyed was the scenes with transition between the real world and the webtoon world! But I must agree that the special effects at Oh Sung Moo face was really ugly, *sigh* and some outfits of KC and OYJ too. For me rating it with 10 is a pleasure, is just giving it the score that it deserves. The originality, the acting, the scenery, the chemistry, the cast, the music/sound, the development of the plot/characters was really well done. I do agree that there are some questions that needed to be answered and weren't, but for me it doesn't matter as was a guilty and loveable pleasure to watch this drama. Now, I'm really sad that it came to an end and I'll miss it really bad.

Review: Heartless City

21:19 Unknown 0 Comments

It's time for another review! I was planning to write about The Full Sun (aka Beyond the Clouds) first, but I couldn't finish it yet (I'm currently at episode 10) so I just decided to write about my favorite drama ever until now: Heartless City. Also known as Cruel City or Undercover, this 2013 drama brought us to the underworld of drugs, mafia and corrupted officers. It was broadcasted by jTBC from May 27 to July 30.

hccover

Synopses: When her sister suffers a brutal fate while undercover in the crime underworld, Yoon Soo Min is driven to pick up where her sister left off. But in the shadows, there are no rules and no reason: Soo Min falls for the organization’s king pin, who also happens to be the prime suspect of her sister’s murder.

[caption id="attachment_1042" align="alignleft" width="223"]cruel-city17 Ji Hyeong Min and Lee Kyeong Mi[/caption]

Although the synopses describe it as a supposed to be love story, this drama goes beyond it. It begins introducing us to a group of police officers that form a tactical team aiming to catch the leader of a drug cartel, in the middle of this group we get to meet Lee Keyong Mi: raised at an orphanage she believes that being a police officer she can make the world a better place to live, she's currently in a long-term relationship with attorney/ex-police office Ji Hyeong Min and she helps to raise her sister from the orphanage called Yoon Soo Min. The team make a plan to catch Scale (the mafia boss), but what they didn't know is that at the same time Doctor's Son is planing a coup d'état at Scale organizationKyeong Mi goes undercover in that mission, but everything goes wrong and she gets killed and everybody thinks that Doctor's Son is her murderer. Believing that Doctor's Son killed Kyeong Mi, Hyeong Min and Soo Min make a plan to catch him and get revenge for their loved one death.

[caption id="attachment_1049" align="alignright" width="344"]4285_10 Yoon Soo Min[/caption]

Doctor's Son aka Jung Shi Hyun was born from an addicted to drugs prostitute and was raised in the middle of the prostitution/drugs world. He's now one of the persons in charge of the distribution of the drugs in Seoul, but we find out that in reality he's an undercover police officer that has the goal of arresting Scale and all the cartel. He has by his side two bests friends: Soo, who is right hand man, and Jin Sook, a ex-prostitute who helped to raise Shi Hyun and is madly in love with him.

[caption id="attachment_1051" align="aligncenter" width="439"]5f73ec0bfc Safari, Jin Sook, Doctor's Son and Soo.[/caption]

Another important characters are: Safari, who knew Doctor's Son since his childhood and works in the drug dealer organisation and comes back to Seoul to stop the coup and fix the problem; other important character is Min Hong Ki a high scale police officer who planted Shi Hyun as undercover and the chief of the tactical team.

  • Story: 9/10.

I must say that it's really hard to find dramas with such a great plot as this one. I really loved how they mixed everything here (romance, action, crime, mystery, etc) hc4as the result was better than what I expected. I remember that when I started to watch this drama I was in a drama slump time, nothing was pleasing me and I was really unhappy; I picked it to watch when only 4 episodes were out and the next weeks became a torture to me: I got really addicted! I do agree that somewhere in the middle the story become a little WTF, but overall this drama has a great development and the characters here are really great. This drama is about choices, it's a dark drama with people who had/have to live in a world that is more hard than ours and how this world molded them. It was not a 10 for me, just because there are some parts that are a little overboard.

  • Acting/Cast: 9/10.

If you know anything about me is that I L-O-V-E Jung Kyung Ho, he's my favorite korean actor and this was the drama that made me fall in love with him: Jung Kyung Ho as Doctor's Son is perfect. Being able to portray such a deep character acce17-20-bmpnd show every kind of feeling is not for any actor.. NO! I'm not over biased, I really love his interpretation here, I love how can I feel everything that Shi Hyun is feeling just by looking at JKH eyes; he just shone  really much at this drama. I do have some problems with Nam Gyu Ri, as she's very inconsistent at her acting, but overall he did a great job here as Yoon Soo Min. It's not really easy to find great kisses in korean drama, almost all the time the lady seems to be a dead fish: but here we had an amazing kiss, one of my favorites kiss ever. I have mixed feelings nuhon2792014-5about Lee Jae Yoon, at the end my problem is not with the actor but with the character Ji Hyeong Min (he pissed me off a lot here). Kim Yoo Mi was great too, I found her sexy and a very strong woman.. I guess all the cast was really well picked and all of them made a decent job, what made this drama very good.

  • Music: 8/10

Overall this OST of this drama is really good, but there's one song that stands out and that I listen till now: Hurt by Kim Yong Jin (here: youtube link). 371206746230254104_5da6bffc_f

  • Rewatch Value: 10/10

After three years I dunno how many times I watched this drama, actually I'm currently rewatching it right now ><.. Just missed it.

  • Overall: 10/10

This drama really blows my mind up to now, every time I rewatch this I understand why I like it so much: this drama has everything and a little more. BUT I don't think that this drama is for everyone, it's a drama for those who are prepared to deal with a lot of things happening really fast and for people who can deal with the borderline between being good and being an evil person. This drama introduced me the other side of Jung Kyung Ho acting skills, since I had already watched him at Smile You and Time Between Dog and Wolf, and I miss him doing this kind of characters. This drama, I mean Jung Shi Hyun was definitively made for him. This is a must watch show for those who like crime/action dramas, be prepared to be frustrated, angry, sad, happy, to be hooked up and to want to break your tv/pc down (HAHAHAH, ><).

Dear chingus, how are you? Sometimes I feel like I should write more and more and I'll definitively try! This week I'm starting a new specialization at blonde hairs, but I intend to write a review of my favorite drama of the year that is ending this week (I'm really unhappy about it): W and to bring to you guys my Top 5 chinese actors! Hopefully I'll get to finish all those articles! I'm so happy that I got a great response for writing here and now I'll start to write in portuguese too, I'm really happy that there are some brazilian chingus interested in my blog. Thanks for coming! Kissus.

Bests of the year: 2012

12:20 Unknown 2 Comments

A guide for my favorites dramas aired on 2012! Why 2012? It was the year that I got addicted to dramas and was a year with one of my favorites dramas ever: Arang and The Magistrate. I'll not mention it here, since I talked about it on my last post (here).

South Korea

Innocent Man

Also known as Nice Guy, this revenge melodrama story has everything to worth your time.

innocent-man-korean-dramas-32442483-1280-720

Synopses: The drama is a melodrama which depicts the story of a man, 'Kang Ma Roo' who has been betrayed by the love of his life, 'Han Jae Hee'. Years after the incident, Ma Roo begins to live a life of self-indulgence. He sacrificed his well being for his girlfriend only to discover that she never looked back and married another man for wealth. Thus, he sets off to take revenge. And in order to execute his revenge, he approaches Seo Eun Gi, the resilient and cold daughter of the man she's married to. (font: mydramalist.)

  • Why you must watch this:  This drama has everything: revenge, bad/good guy style, brotherhood, strong female lead and surprising events! This drama was the one that introduced me to Song Joong Ki and to militar service at South Korea (I remember how much I missed him after this drama), if you're his fan this is a must watch performance. I really love to watch him and Kwang Soo together, since they're reallyhqdefault good friends and they can pass it trough their acting. The female cast of this drama is very good too, specially Moon Chae Won as Eun Gi (personally this is one of my favorites performances from her). I love how we can see all the sides of each character here, although this drama is a makjang one I find the characters really real and human. I can't talk about this drama without mentioning the opening song of this drama: breaks your heart out (watch here). If you like the classic revenge with falling in love kind of drama, this is definitively for you.

  • Rating: 10/10

  • Rewatch value: I lost the count of how many times I watched this drama, one of my favorites.

The Moon that Embraces the Sun

The most beautiful performance from Kim Soo Hyun until now.

  • Why 8896d642cda8051d2885a99c1d78ec2eyou must watch this: Yeah, I know that I already mentioned this one at my last post but I didn't say everything that I wanted. Last week I caught myself watching again the last episodes of this drama. Besides being an amazing love story with the heart breaking performance from Kim Soo Hyun, this drama has the most enjoyable young side of the story that I've ever watched. If we look into the cast of the children, we can see all of them as adults now staring their own dramas!! They did an amazing job here, really amazing. I'll say again: The Moon that Embraces the Sun is kind of classic, it gives the feeling of a classic.

  • Rating: 10/10

  • Rewatch value: As I said, sometimes I get myself watching this drama over and over again.

Queen In Hyun's Man

A time travel romance with the a lot of kisses.

  • Rewatch value: It's a nice drama to marathon during the weekend!

King2Hearts

A south korean prince falls in love with a north korean soldier and they bring to us an amazing romance.

the-king-2hearts-wallpaper-1

Synopses: Kim Hang Ah, is the legendary top female instructor working in North Korea’s elite special forces unit. With stamina, training tactics and strength in all areas, she is the perfect female soldier; however, she has never fallen in love before. Pure and candid, Kim Hang Ah’s goal is to fall in love and get marriedkr4sbd to a man. Lee Jae Ha, is the prince of South Korea’s monarchy. His personality reflects his royal position, with refined humor and a handsome face; however, he has little interest in pursuing politics. Though he seems perfect on the exterior, Lee Jae Ha is actually very materialistic and blunt about his own desires. (font: mydramalist.)

  • Why you must watch it: What I like more about this drama is the development and the growing in Lee Seung Gi character: Prince Lee Jae Ha. Besides being a romantic drama, it also has a lot of politics and familyking_photo120503175309imbcdrama0 issues what make this drama more addictive. I must also say that I love Ha Ji Won here: it's really nice to watch her as a north korean soldier with a tough personality. If you like royal families, bickering love, politics, military and very cute brotherhood this drama is made for you. PS: If you're like me that enjoy handsome mans in a uniform: prepare your heart!

  • Rating: 9/10.

  • Rewatch value: I watched it twice, really dunno if I'll watch this again.

Wild Romance

I really can't understand why this drama is so underrated! T___T

wild-romance_590x330

Synopses: Everything starts on the birthday of Eun Jae's dad. Eun Jae ran into Park Moo Yul, who is the 2nd baseman of 'Red Dreamers', when she is drunk. Eun Jae who is a fan of 'Blue Seagulls', starts a fight with Moo Yul who led the 'Red Dreamers' to victory. The next day, internet is on fire with the video called 'Humiliated Park Moo Yul'. Because of this video, career of both Moo Yul and Eun Jae, who recently got a job as a bodyguard, are in danger.
In the end, they decided to put on a show against the public! They lie that Eun Jae is Moo Yul's private bodyguard and the video was recorded when Eun Jae was giving a self-defence demonstration to Moo Yul. Like this, Eun Jae becomes real bodyguard of Moo Yul. It seemed like everything worked out just fine, but the problem is that they can't stand each other's existence... (font: mydramalist.)

  • Why you must watch this: To begin I must say that I'm not a huge fan of the both leads here (Lee Dong Wook and Lee Shin Young), but this drama is so crazy and funny that I loved it! Yoo Eun Jae and Park Moo Yul are hilarious and very cute together. I realwild_romance_week37_captioncontestly like bickering love when it's made in the right way, and here it is! If you wanna something funny, light and kind of cute this drama is really worth watching. Besides Scent of a Woman, this is my favorite performance from LDW and he's really handsome with this strange mustache. I remember laugh hard when watching this drama.

  • Rating: 9/10

  • Rewatch value: I think that I watched it twice, can't remember. ><'

Also known as Gaksital, this historical drama is full of amazing performances and others not really much.

(font: mydramalist.)

  • Why you must watch this: I'll give you two reasons: Joo Won and Park Ki Woong.  I mean, I didn't knew PKW until this drama and after that I became like a crazy stalker! His performance as Shunji was more than extraordinary, like he was a crazy mad dog. And with Joo Won as Lee Kang To, our ambitious "traitor" who becomes a righteous hero, this drama becomes complete. The plot here is just amazing, I loved everything about the development and how the characters start to change. Thebridal15_zpse0da58fc only thing about this drama that disappointed me was Jin Se Yeon as Boon Yi, her acting is just bleh and looks more poor cause she's beside amazing actors. This drama is a mind blowing one, if you like action dramas and politics this is just for you.

  • Rating: 9/10.

  • Rewatch value: I lost the count here, watched many times just for Park Ki Woong.

  • Rating: 9/10.

  • Rewatch Value: It only has 4 episodes, so it's nice to rewatch sometimes.

It's the only drama that tumblr_static_egp0aocvbfw4gsgg48ogg0sogI found Yan Aaron to be this amazing actor and this work is very different from his another works. The music is beautiful, the romance is nice and the scenery is charming. It's a good choice for a different taiwanese drama.
